Winter has well and truly settled in but that doesn’t mean we’re destined to be hermits. In fact, there’s lots to see and do this July to get us out and about and entertained. 1. Happy Place
Capture your happy at this immersive pop-up exhibit at Broadway Sydney. With multi-sensory themed rooms and larger-than-life installations, Happy Place offers an extraordinary whimsical experience for groups of all sizes and ages.

2. Kupe to Cook at the Sea Museum
Gain a deeper understanding of the people and places of the Pacific Ocean with the new exhibition at The Sea Museum. Featuring artworks by twenty leading Aotearoa New Zealand and Australian contemporary artists, Kupe to Cook dismantles misconceptions about the discovery of Aotearoa New Zealand.

3. Igloos at the pier
Pier One have raised the bar (literally) with luxury igloos perched above the pier on suite balconies overlooking the harbour. You can choose to enjoy a midday, sunset, or twilight session with the option to stay overnight if you wish.

4. Wine and cheese ceramic workshop
If making something beautiful whilst enjoying BYO wine and nibbles sounds like it would be something you’d enjoy, then we may have found the perfect 2-hour workshop for you. You’ll learn the process of stoneware ceramics, vessel and pattern design in a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

5. And Now
Featuring works from the second decade of Judith Neilson’s White Rabbit Collection, nothing will be as it seems. The artists in AND NOW represent the vanguard of global contemporary art which not only reflect the transformation of China but also echo the entire world in flux.

6. Issho Editions
A new online program from The Japan Foundation, Sydney which has been developed with the intention to bring people together through the experience of Japenese arts and culture across the digital landscape. The program consists of a four-part series that showcases Japanese cultural practices including pop culture, craft, music and dance from local and international artists.

7. The Priscilla Experience
It’s time to get your drag on and enjoy this show-stopping dining experience at The Imperial. With a delicious three-course menu and luxurious cocktail options, this is one and a half hours of non-stop glamour and glitz inspired by the camp history of Australian drag.
