SeeChange Jervis Bay Arts Festival: Online
Dates: Friday 04 September to Wednesday 30 September 2020
Although this will not be a physical festival this year, you can still browse the diverse range of visual art, small sculpture and crafted objects created by local artists and makers. With every purchase you’ll be supporting the local talent and you even have the chance to vote for the People’s Award – where the winner received $500.
Kiewa Street Market, Albury
Dates: Friday 4 September to Sunday 27 December 2020 (weekly event)
Every Sunday from 8.30am to 12 midday there is a market at the Kiewa Street Multi Deck Carpark – 441 Kiewa Street, Albury. There’s lots of things to purchase, from worm farms to woollen socks, flowers to fishing tackle, and pottery to fresh produce. There’s even weekly entertainment to see you into Sunday.
Kiama Bodyboard King Pro

It’s the third stop on the APB World Tour where you’ll see over 100 world-class competitors battle for the title. The headquarters are at Surf Beach, Kiama but the events may be held at various local spots along the headland – depending on conditions. You’re sure to be thrilled and awed by some of the tricks that can be performed in the most high-performance waves possible.
Barrel and Larder Cooking School, Orange

Orange has quickly become the go to culinary destination for Sydney-siders. Full of world-class restaurants and wineries, it’s a delicious place to spend the weekend. And Ross Hill Wines Cellar is now housing a custom designed cooking school – Barrel and Larder. Each intimate cooking class is for groups of 12 people and will see you prepare three courses to be enjoyed with paired Ross Hill Wines.

After the devastating fires at the start of the year, Mark from Tippettures brought together some Australian cartoonists to create a series of pieces to raise money for Wires. Displayed at the National Cartoon Gallery, you can visit in person or shop online to raise money for a fantastic cause.
Cheese and Wine Experience, Ulladulla

Culpitt’s Estate produces its own boutique wine and artisan cheese which they’d love for you to come down and taste. So, they have put together a Cheese and Wine Experience to showcase a selection of their produce whilst you overlook the beautiful surroundings of the Cupitt’s Estate. The outdoor tasting matched 5 wines with a selection of their cheese and house-baked bread. Or, you can choose to extend your lunch to 1.5 hours and enjoy something from the Pizza Bar menu.

Still in my Mind: Gurindji experience, location and visuality, Katoomba

Inspired by the words of revered Indigenious leader Vincent Lingiari, ‘that land…I still got it in my mind’, this exhibition considers the annoying impact of the Gurindji Walk-Off, a seminal event in Australian history that continues to resonate powerfully today. Still in my Mind incorporates photographs, an experimental video installation, newly commissioned history paintings, contemporary and historical prints and drawings, textiles and found objects, digital platforms and archives, in a richly diverse exhibition.
