Bright lights at the Noel Sydney 2022 Christmas Markets

Bright lights and Christmas feels at the brand new Noel Christmas Markets, Sydney

Noel 2022 is here and it’s bright and beautiful

There is a new Christmas Market in Sydney and it’s bright, colourful and full of wonder. From the forest of LED Christmas trees, Artisan markets stalls, street food, live performances and more; you’ll be well and truly into the Christmas spirit when you leave.

This is a family-friendly festival which runs until Christmas Eve. There’s art installations and light projections, as well as drone shows and more to entertain everyone that goes.

With the main markets in the Botanical Gardens, the show starts at Hyde Park Barracks. Here you’ll find light projections of The Nutcracker which will start to get you in the festive spirit. Then, as you follow it past the State Library, Sydney Hospital and the Mint, you’ll be singing your way all the way to The Parade Ground to watch the show.

A look at the bustling Artisan Christmas Markets at Sydney Noel 2022

Every night from 6pm you can walk through an LED Christmas Forest as you listen to community choirs sing. And then take a walk through the market where you can buy handmade Artisan gifts for loved ones, eat delicious street food, or enjoy a drink at the pop-up bar. Or perhaps you’d like to learn how to make a Christmas wreath or other decorations at one of the workshops along the way.

Look up to the sky for the show

Every night you’ll look up in wonder as hundreds of drones perform a synchronised sky show. It’s an awe-inspiring sight that we’ve seen at VIVID Sydney before.

Then, the show comes back down to earth and on the stage. With performances by David Campbell, Katie Noonan Trio, Bella Taylor Smith, Emma Pask and more.
