Dining out in Potts Point over Easter

I’m sure, like many of us, you are looking forward to the sweetest long weekend of the year but it doesn’t all have to be about chocolate and hot cross buns. In fact, there are many things going on locally which your sweet tooth would happily take a break for. If you are staying in Sydney for Easter we have put together a list of local cafes and restaurants which will be happy to add a bit of variance to your palette.

  1. Fratelli Paradiso, Potts Point

If you are after fresh, Italian produce and food then this is the place to be.
Known for their amazing pastries and authentic Italian pizza, factor this into your long weekend for a taste of La Dolce Vita.

Clocking up more than a decade of existence, this is the most established Café/Restaurant in Potts Point. And it’s certainly not by accident. If you love your coffee as much as we do, then make sure this is one of Easter pit stops.

Kylie Kwong never disappoints nor shies away from rolling up her sleeves and getting stuck into the kitchen. Prepare for your taste buds to tingle with delight after sampling the beautiful Chinese and Native Australian cuisine. Sensational.

If you can’t decide on whether you want to spend your night in a restaurant or bar, then Monopole is the one for you. Probably best to pop down for Happy Hour (between 5-6.30pm) and see where the night takes you – quick cheeky drink or full tasting menu, the night is young and it’s the long weekend! Woo hoo!

  1. Café Sopra at Fratelli Fresh, Potts Point

This hugely popular Italian café plus fruit and veg store is a blessing for all of you who can’t get out of bed early enough for breakfast. The café is open for brunch, staying open all the way through dinner so you can enjoy a morning without the alarm clock, completely guilt free.

 

Open every day of the long weekend. Only change is Good Friday when they will close at 9pm.
